Every wonder what the idea is behind these long(er) interval pieces on Saturdays?
When we change workouts / movements and rep schemes every so-many minutes on the running clock, the piece now becomes classified as a “progression.”
I like to describe them as a systematic increase in fatigue and prescribed intensity. Each interval should progressively get more challenging rather than dropping a bomb at 3.2.1 GO and praying that you can figure out how to hold on.
